TREATMENTS

Anti-Wrinkle Therapies
There are various types of anti wrinkle injection containing Botulinum Toxin type A. It is a purified protein which has been used therapeutically since 1985. It is used in very small doses to temporarily stop the muscle causing the expression line from working, resulting in a more relaxed appearance boosting your self esteem. The results typically lasts 4-6 months. It takes 4-14 days for the after treatment effects to be seen.
About Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum Toxin A blocks the release of acetylcholine at the end of the nerve, at the junction between the muscles and nerves. Acetylcholine is necessary to stimulate muscle contraction.
Botulinum Toxin A can be used in the treatment of migraines, excessive underarm sweating & pain in the temporomandibular joint. These conditions would require a diagnosis by the referring Doctor or Dentist.
The Botulinum Toxin A contains albumin from human blood.
